Annika Gonzalez is a Filipino-Canadian digital animator and illustrator based in Toronto. She is an alumni of OCAD University's Drawing and Painting: Expanded Animation program.

 

She specializes in frame-by-frame animation but likes to experiment with 3D programs for fun. Being influenced by Japanese media from a young age, Annika’s work tends to embody a cute and cartoony aesthetic which primarily reflects how she views her everyday life. She often finds inspiration for her works through amusing conversations or little happenings throughout the day. For her personal works, she likes creating illustrations of food (mostly desserts), video games, Japanese animation, and movies.
